Q:  Why can't I see the prices?
A:  Manufacturers set minimum advertised prices on certain items.  This means that if we sell to you below that price, we cannot show you the price until you have added the item to your shopping cart.  You are not required to buy the item just because it is in your cart.   Simply click the “See our Price/Buy Now” button to add the item to your shopping cart and view the price.

Q:  Why haven't I received an email of shipping confirmation?
A:  Shipping confirmation emails are all sent out at the end of the business day, usually around 6pm EST.  The most common reason for not receiving these e-mails is because of your email's bulk or junk mail settings.  Please check there for your e-mails.

Q:  How can I tell if my item is in stock?
A:  In order to eliminate as many backorders as possible, MegaGPS ships from various locations around the country.  As a result, we are unable to provide live inventory on our site.  Less than 3% of our orders are placed on backorder, but you can email or call us anytime during business hours to verify stock if needed.  If your order is placed on backorder, you will be contacted the same business day.  Your credit card will not be charged until the item ships.

Q:  How much will it cost to ship my item(s)?
A:  Any item that has free shipping will be clearly marked that way.  It is very important that you select the free shipping option when you are checking out.  To check shipping costs on items that do not have free shipping, simply add the items to your cart.  Once all of the items you wish to purchase are in your shopping cart, enter your zip code in the appropriate box and click “Calculate Shipping”.  A pull down box will appear with all of your shipping options and prices are listed to the right.

Q:  When will my item ship?
A:  All in-stock orders placed by 4pm EST will ship the same business day.  In-stock orders placed Friday after 4pm EST through Sunday will not ship until Monday.

Q:  How long will it take for my items to get to me?
A:  Normal UPS deliveries run Monday through Friday.  Next Day Air orders placed before the shipping deadline will arrive the following business day.  2nd Day Air orders will arrive in 2 business days (for example, if ordered on Tuesday before the shipping deadline, the package would arrive on Thursday).  UPS Ground takes anywhere from 3-5 business days to be delivered.

Q:  How do I return an item?
A: First, please read the sales policies carefully to make sure that your item is returnable.  If it is, scroll over the "Return Information" link at the top of this site and click "New Unit Returns".  Our returns department will get back to in 1-2 business days with all of the instructions for returning your item. For defective items purchased within the last 30 days, fill out the "Defective Return" form under the "Return Information" section at the top of this site. After the first 30 days, you must contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement of your defective unit.

Q:  How do I make a warranty claim?
A:  First, make sure you are within your warranty period (most are one year).  MegaGPS will assist customers with warranty issues in the first 30 days after your purchase. After the first 30 days, the customer deals directly with the GPS manufacturer. Please contact the respective manufacturer with warranty issues after the first 30 days. If you are within the first 30 days of your purchase and have a defective unit, click the "Return Information" tab at the top of this site, then fill out the form after clicking on "Defective Return". Our returns department will get back to in 1-2 business days with all of the instructions you will need.

Q:  Is the product I am purchasing new?
A:  MegaGPS does not resell used merchandise.  We do carry some factory-refurbished products, but they will be CLEARLY marked as such.  All items not marked as refurbished are brand new from the factory.

Q:  How can I find accessories for my GPS unit?
A:  All accessories for your unit are listed at the bottom of your particular GPS unit’s product page on our site under “Related Products”.  Be sure to only buy accessories that are listed under your GPS unit because they are the ONLY ones that will be compatible.  

Q:  Why won't my order go through?
A:  The most common answer to this question is that there is something wrong with the information you have provided us (ie. credit card billing address, credit card number or expiration date, credit card security code, etc).  Verify that all of this information is correct.  If it is, you may want to contact your credit card company and make sure that there are no holds on your account, per-day spending limits, per-transaction spending limits, etc.  Also remember that MegaGPS only accepts U.S. issued credit cards.

Q. Do you accept Purchase Orders?
A. We are happy to accept government or education purchase orders. Please fax your govenment or education purchase order to 1-866-548-7523.

Q. Do you offer large quantity discounts?
A. Because we already sell GPS products wholesale to the public, we generally don't have the margins for further discounts unless you are ordering 12 or more units. We are happy to create custom bulk order quotes if you plan on purchasing 12+ units and you can fill out the bulk order request form here.
